Dear Parent or Guardian,
We are writing to inform you about an incident that occurred today in the lunchroom. A handful of students were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated for several minutes. It was dealt with immediately by our staff. Please be assured that our most important job as educators is to keep your children safe while they are here at school. The students involved will receive consequences to be determined by administrators and law enforcement.
As you hear the story from your child, please know that the majority of the students were respectful and responded appropriately to staff in a challenging situation. We were proud of them and hope you are as well.
